June 2008 Events for Las Vegas

June's Convention and Sporting Event schedule looks a bit light for 2008 with the JCK show, Infocomm, Great West Truck and the Cosmetics show the major conventions. The Olympic Trials for Judo and Wrestling, Pacquiao v. Diaz for the WBC Super Featherweight crown and the World Series of Poker are the non-convention draws for June. Nxtcomm and Infocomm are sister events so we did not double count the projected numbers by the LVCVA (Las Vegas Convention and Visitor Authority).

You should always try to get comped tickets if you gamble enough and then pay regular box office prices if comps are not available. However, if you don't mind paying a premium for very good seats, TicketsNow which usually has one of the largest inventories.

In previous years, June has been an above average month but with a lower daily visitor count than March and April. Although the numbers for May are not in, we would expect June comparisons to be below last year because the full impact of higher gas prices is most likely to be in Summer. Here are the LVCVA numbers for the last few years and the average daily visitor counts which we believe we are the only website to publish. Months with high and low visitor counts are highlighted.
