February Events Schedule for Las Vegas

12 of the 53 biggest conventions scheduled for Las Vegas this year will take place in February including MAGIC (men’s clothing) which should bring in about 120,000 visitors.  Here are the larger ones for Vegas.

However, Vegas should see close to half a million attendees for sporting events with Super Bowl 42 near the start of February and Pole Day for Nascar at the very tail end (UAW-Dodge and Sam’s Town races will fall in the first 2 days of March).

In addition, boxing middleweights Pavlik and Taylor, and WWE wrestling come to town. UFC 81 (mixed martial arts) is likely to sell out as does other UFC events.

Vegas Made Easy.com does not recommend any ticket broker for the budget minded. You will save a lot of money by getting tickets from the box office.

If you procrastinate and would still like to see Nascar, UFC, etc. here in Vegas or even the Super Bowl in Florida, here is a link to a seller that often has the largest inventories of tickets and a good reputation Click Here.

Super Bowls will draw about the same number of visitors as New Year’s which is around 300,000.  Because of the additional seating, Nascar should push 160,000 this year although the hotels won’t feel as crowded as a typical160,000 visitor event because RVs are popular among Nascar fans.  There are indications Vegas may get another Nascar event but not this year—perhaps 2009.

Below are all events with estimated attendance of 1,000+ for February with a chart that shows the overlapping attendance for Las Vegas events.  The overlapping attendance is the much better gauge of how crowded Vegas will be.
