January Convention Schedule for Las Vegas
January is usually next to last for number of conventions during the year but they are so big that January is usually the top or next to top month for convention money for Las Vegas. Of the 50 biggest conventions in Vegas, 7 of them take place in January including CES (Consumer Electronics Show) which will push 150,000 attendees.

Daily visitor count in January is actually below average coming in at about 100,000 compared to 106K or so on an average day. If you hate crowds, January is actually a good time to visit as long as you avoid New Year's and the larger conventions.
